Awesome Wii Homebrew Apps
How do you Brick a Wii?
I have been going over the many problems people have been having with homebrew applications, deciding on whether I should try some out or not, and I have noticed at least two kinds of bricking, Semi-Bricking and Region Bricking (Full-Bricking). I was wondering if region code is the only thing that can Full-Brick the Wii, or are there other methods that I need to avoid if I am to attempt a homebrew application on my system. Can anyone give me a current list on the ways to Full-Brick the Wii, as opposed to Semi-Bricking?
@ViPi K: I do not intend on adding a Mod Chip to my Wii, as that involves hardware, which has a much greater chance of bricking. I am simply going to be using homebrew applications, which does not require modification of the system. In any case, that has nothing to do with my question.
u should ask a person who can mod wii's caz doin it urself can probably be hard

Homebrew Channel by Bert, Adam Cornelius [Paperback] $101.96 Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Homebrew Channel is a freeware homebrew application loader that was developed to provide a way of easily running unofficial software on the Wii console. Once installed, it appears as a standard Wii Channel on the Wii Menu. When launched, it displays a list of applications found on an SD card or USB drive. The user then can control and select an application to launch by using a Wii Remote or the GameCube controller. It also accepts application uploads via a USB Gecko or TCP/IP, which allows for quick application testing during development. When first launched from the Wii Menu, the Homebrew Channel will check for updates to itself and automatically download them if the user chooses to do so.
