Sony PlayStation 3 wireless connectivity problem?

When setting up the wireless connectivity on the Sony Playstation 3, after selecting my wireless network, the next screen seems to hang. This is the screen which has SSID and then the name of your network. It should proceed to another screen where you would type in the router's password.

What are you pressing when this screen shows up? I am trying to remember when I set up mine and I think it was just right on the D-Pad or X. Maybe try turning off your PS3, and turn it on again.

Are you doing a manual setup or an automatic setup? Try the other one, it might work.
