Regarding Playstation 3 Warranty?

ok guys i got an offer for a playstation3 brand new sealed for a good price 80gb (350$)... but the problem is there is no recipt for it, so does that means
1.there is no warranty since there is no recipt?
2. is it worth it to save like 100$ for this deal and take it if there is no warranty?
3. what should i be aware of when buying this ps3?

Buying it second hand will leave you without a warranty. PS3 have a really low rate of failing but it still does happen. The biggest problem is the Blu-Ray drive (search google and you might find some videos of it). Without a warranty its about $150 to get fixed. Mine failed on my PS3 and its only used moderately and was 6 months old when it happened. Personally for a device that cost $400 you might as well buy new with a Warranty
