Panasonic 3d Video Camera

getting a panasonic 3D lens?
ok so i have a JVC everio HD camcorder/video camera (whatever u call it) and i have herd of the new panasonic 3D lens's do i have to have a panasonic camera for it to work or will my JVC be compatible with it. if its not compatible when will JVC release a 3D lens

There's a lot of "buzz" about the relatively-affordable Panasonic 3D camcorder lens system (model VW-CLT1-H 3D Converter Lens for camcorders TM750 and TM650) with a current street price of $599.00 (US$). But, as noted by the listed TM-series camcorders in my note, your JVC Everio camcorder won't be compatible.
Part of the issue is lens mounting itself, and the other is the side-by-side image technology & processing involved. Panasonic's parent company, Matsushita Corp., has put in a lot of R&D time and money but JVC will have to either license the Panasonic technology, or develop one of their own systems. (Panasonic's current plans are to make their 3D system work with their own Viera-brand TV's and their 3D-capable BluRay Disc players.)
