How much will the price go down?
It's very unlikely - shops are suffering NOW - so, they've already pulled their prices down. There is a possibility that they will drop the price - but only slightly.
The profit margins on these big electrical items is important to the shop. Christmas is the time when most devices are sold, and these sales support the shop for the rest of the year.
That said, the profit margins on these devices is not as great as you'd think.
Because of the recession and the bad weather in the UK, you might see a number of these large stores disappearing for next christmas simply because the customer-base isn't there to support high prices.
