Why is this TV so cheap? Any big flaws I should know about?

is something wrong with it?
Because it's not a plasma, it's a DLP. DLP TVs can be built more cheaply; they have good picture quality but have narrow viewing angles and a bulb that must be replaced every few thousand hours of use.
