how does a 3d tv work, i dont even see the difference of 3d and 2d on a tv?

i google it and it dosent seem any different like its still a flat screen am i missing something, dosent 2d look 3d with shadow and everything, could someone please explain how the 3d tv works

Your in luck, I can answer your question. They angle each pixel out in two different directions. Either every other horizontal line or just every other pixel, not sure which. I read through tiny mirriors in each pixel. Then when you are so far from the television, about 10 feet, half the pixels go into one eye and the other half into the other eye. You have to be a certain distance from the television or they will not angle into your eyes correctly, therefore only a certain amount of people can view this television. The thinking is that as they perfect this television it will become common for 3d tv at home. I read news articles of people who have seen this tv and were rather impressed with it. It has been around for 3 years that I know of.

Also, in the video it looks 2d because you are not actually there so the pixels can angle into both of your eyes. From your question it sounds like you have not seen a 3d movie. It looks like things are in front of the screen and behind the screen. If you have ever used that toy called view master, it looks kind of like that.
