3d video emulator
What kind of video card should I buy for Xbox 360 quality games?
I'm looking to get a new video card.. I have 1.5GB of RAM and a lame integrated Intel 82845G 3D Extreme Graphics Card. The graphics aren't very extreme at all. Say I want to download an emulator and some xbox 360 games.. anyone know anything about what kind of specs I should look for in a graphics card to handle this quality of game?
My mother board only has a PCI slot, but I found a PCI to PCI Express adapter on ebay. Dell Dimension 2400; "200 W or 250 W" power supply.
Should I just get any motherboard with A pci-e slot? ..and a new power supply?
xbox 360 is the same as a 7800gtx or just get a better one like a hd4850
edit, do not by that adapter, the pci slot can only handle a certain amount of data at one time.
a pcie slot can handle way way more. so the adapter will really slow any graphics card down.
you must have either an agp slot or a pcie slot, every pc has one

dual core E3300 @2.5ghz
2gb ddr2 ram
hd4770
he has a great pc but with a crap graphics card, if he spent $100 on a hd4850 then he could run any game today on high settings
