What subjects are important to focus on to be a Computer Animator?

As in 3D movies, video games, cartoons, television and website advertisements etc.
I was thinking Physics... math, art?

your looking for 3d movies as well as any live action video with characters that express a lot of emotion and personality through their movements. i guess a little physics could help, but mostly get and understanding in basic animation first and learn all the concepts and techniques you can, there is no point doing animation properly if you can't learn to understand through traditional means
