my sony XBR 3D TV does not function with my playstation 3?

i have the the SONY XBR-60LX900 and i updated my playstation to the 3.50 version (the one that is supposedly compatible to 3D games and blu ray) but if i try playing a 3d blu ray it says that the player is not compatible for 3D (the playstation) and when i was playing COD: Black ops i went to options and tried putting it in 3d (since the game is compatible with it) and it said that my TV is not compatible... any suggestions?

did you get the cable that does allow 3D?
you need an HDMI cable that also has 3D enabled. try searching in F.Y.E. for a $20 one.
