When are Sony's range of 3D TVs due for Australian release?

I've heard rumours that they were going to be released in the next two weeks coinciding with the end of the FIFA World Cup, but then there have been other rumours saying Sony has canceled their rollout of the sets in Australia due to unspecified issues. So is there any confirmation of any date in the next few months? Could anyone with half an idea hazard an informed guess? Also, are we set to be slogged the usual 30-50% price premium?

I wouldn't bother with it for a few years let someone else have all the problems.
