Samsung or Sony Bravia?

I just bought a 46in. Sony Bravia LED-LCD 3D TV and I'm not 100% satisfied with the quality of the picture. I mean the brightness, colors, etc. are ok, but the MotionFlow technology seems to be lacking. When watching sports or fast motion scenes on TV, even on Blu Ray, it's not producing quite the effect I was hoping for. I almost went with a Samsung, but opted buy the Bravia because it was offering 240Hz vs. the 120Hz. on the Samsung for the exact same price.

All TV's are assembled by contract on the same assembly lines in China, so brand isn't as meaningful as it used to be.

The best bet is to go to a store and compare. Bring a DVD with the sort of motion that seems to challenge your TV and compare in person.

Technical specifications don't always tell the story, because the marketing folks lie by omission. They only put in the things that look positive or impressive.

Despite other shortcomings, plasma TV's typically outperform LED/LCD on fast changing images.
