Can I watch 3d movies on demand fios with a normal flatscreen and 3d glasses?

I have a normal HDTV but it's not 3d. I have verizon fios and they have some 3d movies on there and I wanted to try it out but it says I need a 3d tv. Has anyone done this with a normal tv and some glasses???

No. 3D involves two discrete images, one for each eye. A conventional 2D TV cannot do that.
