i thought about buying a plasma hdtv?

i really like the vt25 from panasonic but dont need 3D so im not sure if it is still worth the price of the 50 or 54 in. screen. or should i go with something else what do you recommend in a 50 in plasma screen size and can you tell the difference in a tv that has 24fps and the others that do not the modals that i have been looking at are the pan g25 and the lg pk750 i was looking at the new 2010 modals only what do u recommend im new to the hdtv world and the only thing i know is i want a plasma screen btw i will watch allot of hd content and play games/blue ray on the ps3

Plasma the right choose for big screen. forget about technical issue, too many for us to understand in detail.just remember, Plasma is prefect in pictures quality. true dark and black colours , smooth pictures with out motion blur.non of any LCD TV reach Plasma performs.LED TV close to Plasma but much more in prices.
Panasonic is the only maker invest to new generation Plasma Technology and use that for those after 2009 models. with out burn in / over heat even long for game -still image .low power consumption also 60,000 hours life time as good as LCD TV. Z series even better than LCD as 100000 hours life time.Panasonic NEO Plasma technology included world best HD TV --Pioneer Plasma technology. as Panasonic purchased all the patents and hired Mose of the engineer's who worked for Pioneer Plasma division. own an Panasonic new Plasma = world best HD TV-Pioneer KURO but paid much less in $.

* LG or Samsung Plasma just okay. but Korea Plasma technology is 2 years behind Panasonic. the LG Plasma TV power consumption ( W ) still very high .50 inc is about 320 W. Panasonic 54 inc Z models is less that 240W. *
