How does 3D look on TVs?
Alright, let's forget about how much these 3D TVs cost and break this down to the bare essentials: How does it look? Is the picture crisp and clear? Can you truly get a good sense of depth? And most importantly, do you feel nauseous after extended viewing in 3D?
I've never seen it with my own eyes, but I hope to own a 3D TV someday and was wondering what the people that actually own one (or at least have seen one) think.
Thanks in advance!
The Panasonic 50VT20/25 is superb. For my money, it's the best TV money can buy at the moment.
It's 2D performance is excellent.
It's 3D performance is great too. I wouldn't go so far as to say that there is a sense of realism, but there certainly is depth and the picture is as sharp as in 2D. The colours are accurate and the motion is great. I've heard some people feel nauseous after extended viewing, but it's not been a problem for me in the slightest.
As with most things when buying a large screen TV, plasma is the way to go. You'll get a much better picture and viewing experience than with an LCD.
There is little 3D content around at the moment, so I would judge a TV primarily on it's 2D performance, but if it does 3D, then great!
