An impossibly tough question for pro videographers - 3D composition?

How do you do composition in 3D? Do you take "the rule of thirds" and extend it into the shot's depth? With the added component of motion what might be some considerations? Three-D is coming and it seems like this is a wide open territory in regards to composition so what might be some guidelines? Btw: Fujiflim has a 3D consumer digital camera with SD 3D available now for about $600 so don't think that 3D isn't coming for a while because it is already here. Sony is going to broadcast 25 of the World Cup Soccer finals in 3D. There are 7,000 3D TVs worldwide right now and the number is only going to grow. So what are the guidelines for 3D video composition?

3D video will not affect composition. Current video already represents 3D objects and the relationship between the objects won't change. What 3D viewing provides is a clearer cue as to the depth of the objects; that's all.

The only minor consideration will be in situations where the edge of the image of two objects is close but where overlapping is undesirable. A larger buffer may be required so that centered viewer as well as peripheral viewers don't view an overlap. Optimal viewing will still likely be catered to centered viewers, though.
