I have £700-800 to spend on a new laptop - which would you buy?
I am in the UK...
Give me a brand name, or a make and model recommendation, or a place to buy, or things to avoid. Main uses of my laptop:
Being lightweight and portable is not a big concern - I would like a larger screen - 17" min.
internet - general browsing, downloading music, watching tv online and downloading from iplayer, 4OD etc, I use the internet daily and go on sites with a lot of content
editing, uploading photos, managing photos online and a blog
email via outlook
word processing MSoffice
run a graphics programme e.g. adobe photoshop
play games - not huge 3D graphic games, more like stuff downloaded from Yahoo Games etc.
run a printer/scanner/photocopier
So... any recommendations? Ideally, I want a machine that is upgradeable and will see me through the next 4-5 years.

Do not take HP, it is very expensive and there are problems with their devices (It is very long in the starting up, there is always something which does not go).
